“Many of Yutong projects and researches build on and inspired by progressive, human-centered relationships and emotional sympathy. Yutong believes art and design not only bring people beauty and enjoyment but also stimulate people's positive motivation. The similar relationship between emotion and labor work between machine and human inspire her work a lot. How human lives in contemporary? Does the work or labor relationship between us and machines shape our life attitudes, thoughts of our world, even the emotion of our relationship? Yutong builds her artworks based on working machine progress to form mechanical humanity in visual arts. The way we work with machines is also a way that pushes us to become new cyborgs. A cyborg has a physical body with a digital mind. Yutong's work is a visual reflection of what happens in contemporary.” —Yutong Liu
